ZERO: A numbers game

After last years show season, Ben Villagomez came up to me and told me we should try to go for top dog this year with ZERO and try to get 100 best of breed wins. I thought to myself or maybe even said it out loud… “are you crazy”? Top dog maybe, but 100 best of breeds? You know what it takes to go for top dog! … the dedication, the focus, the hard work… logistics… budget? YES! If anyone knew what it took, it would be BEN! Being the owner of THE GREAT “BEAR”!!! What a great compliment for him to give us the Challenge! 

We sat out the first two show weekends of the new show season and thought about it. If we were going for top dog, we might as well aim high. Game on! 

We kicked off our year at the ABKC Season opener in Georgia and won 5 BEST of BREEDS, 5 BEST IN SHOW and DOG OF THE YEAR! A few days later we flew across the pond to Zamora, Spain for the ABKC EURO NATIONALS and won the coveted INTERNATIONAL/NATIONALS BEST IN SHOW! We knew we were off to a very good start! To say we’ve had a very good campaign year would be down playing it! Yes! We did it! 100 BEST OF BREED WINS in a season! And doing it in less than 10 months! It gives ZERO TO A HUNDRED a new meaning! 

 Our sincere appreciation to all the Judges! Dreams do come true! 

In our So-called “BULLY WORLD” where talk is cheap, lead by example! Be the change you want to see! Be the Inspiration or even the Challenge! Your work and accomplishments will always be louder than any arguments.
